1 yellow onion – fine diced
6 cloves of garlic – minced
6 tomatoes – seeded and pureed using a blender
3 TBL tomato paste
1 tsp sugar
1 bay leaf
1/4 cup grated parmesan
2 TBL dried oregano
2 TBL fresh basil – chiffonade
1. Place the onion and garlic in a medium size sauce pot over medium heat and sauté them for 5-10 minutes or until golden brown.
2. Add all other ingredients into the pot and simmer for 15 minutes.
3. Remove the bay leaf and kool the pizza sauce the fridge before using it on a pizza.
